What information we collect

  • Email addresses and names: When you subscribe to our newsletter, sign up for updates, or choose to share your email on the survey form.
  • Survey responses: Answers to questions about where you swim, household transit times, and memories or thoughts on Willard Pool. Providing your name or email on the survey is entirely optional.
  • Anonymous aggregate analytics: Basic, privacy-respecting pageview metrics (like total visits and top pages) without tracking individual visitors across the web or building advertising profiles.
03how it’s
used

How we use your information

We use your information exclusively to:

  • Send occasional, relevant updates on survey findings, community meetings, city council discussions, and next steps for a public pool in South Berkeley.
  • Aggregate survey findings into community data (e.g., "75% of respondents travel over 25 minutes to reach a public pool") to demonstrate neighbourhood need to civic leaders and school district officials. All published survey findings are completely anonymised.

We do not send unsolicited marketing or promotional emails for commercial products or services.
